The Wonders of Chalkboard Paint

I have been seeing all these great chalkboard paint projects and decided to give it a try. I picked up this beer mug at my local Goodwill, taped off a square, painted a THIN coat, waited 20 minutes for it to dry. I gave it five coats total, waited an hour for it to fully dry, peeled off the tape and I was done! Awesome beer mug for my awesome boyfriend.

Chalkboard paint is truly amazing, you can use it on almost any surface, you can also make your own custom color chalkboard paint, the color possibilities are endless! So, get some chalkboard paint (or make your own) and start painting it on!
